Lenovo announces new ThinkPad X1 Nano featuring Intel Evo, 16:10 and weighing just two pounds
Lenovo has a whole new business organisation laptop for fall 2022, named the ThinkPad X1 Nano. As the name implies, this is an ultra-lite laptop – the lightest Lenovo has always made. But being thin and low-cal does not mean compromise as this full Ultrabook has Windows x Pro, 11th Gen Intel Cadre i7, new Intel Xe graphics, and a whole lot of "smart" congenital into it too.
Perhaps the bigger story is this is the starting time modern ThinkPad to ditch the 16:9 attribute and adopt the taller 16:x. This screen switch is a tendency that started with Microsoft's three:two Surface line and recently adopted by Dell using 16:10.

With a 13-inch 2K Dolby Vision display (in touch or non-touch), the ThinkPad X1 Nano as well has Wi-Fi 6, Thunderbolt iv, and 5G abilities making it a practice-it-all laptop. Intel'southward latest Xe graphics should requite nearly an eighty percent boost in functioning compared to tenth Gen.
That display gets augmented by two upward-firing tweeters and two downward-firing woofers to create an immersive soundscape powered by Dolby Atmos.
Another smashing trick is the ThinkPad X1 Nano can detect when y'all approach the laptop (with the brandish open up). The camera can so turn on the screen and log y'all in without ever touching it. All of that wouldn't matter if battery life were poor, but being congenital on Intel'due south latest Evo platform, Lenovo can claim northward of 17 hours of battery life. Considering real-world usage, even if that is 8 or ix hours with all that tech, it would be an all-day device.
